Kathleen Gibbs
Kathleen has been a field biologist for the National Audubon Society, a coal emissions tester, the director of a crisis counseling service, a business development consultant with G.A. Wright in Denver, CO, a certified massage therapist and has owned and operated five separate independent businesses. Since 1998, she has lived in a restored Victorian home in Mountain Lake Park, MD. In 2009, she joined with her nephew, Jay Clark, to open Garrett PetMinders, a pet sitting and home service business serving Garrett County, Maryland and including the Deep Creek Lake area.
Given her varied experience, Kathleen has developed skills in many areas; including graphic design and development, small business development and consulting. When not pet sitting, she donates her time and talents in graphic design, marketing, photography, copywriting, website development, email marketing, event development, financial administration, organization and planning to many area charities.
In 2011, Kathleen acheived certification through the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. A strenuous 5-month course, this certification brings Garrett PetMinders to the forefront of the pet care industry. When not traveling the county visiting clients, she lives with her husband Chip and their Springer Spaniel, Andy.
